1. SÖDERBY GOLF CLUB
GolfUppsala owns and operates Söderby Golf. The 18-hole course was inaugurated in 2004 and challenges golfers at a professional level with strategic water hazards and an exciting layout. Söderby is considered one of Uppland’s best courses and has hosted the Nordea Tour/Swedish Golf Tour nine times. LETAS tournaments were also arranged here in 2020 and 2021. For those who want to practice, there is a 9-hole course for both beginners and experienced players. The facility has a complete clubhouse with restaurant, one of Sweden’s largest golf shops, and changing rooms. Additionally, there is also Scandinavia’s only TaylorMade Performance Lab at the facility.

2. EDENHOF GOLF CLUB
Edenhof Golf Club is a golf facility that is also owned and operated by GolfUppsala. The course, designed by the renowned golf course architect Sune Linde, is a challenging 18-hole course with large undulating greens. The course was ranked as Uppland’s fourth best course in 2009 and 2010 by Golf Digest. The club also has a fine 9-hole course that is open for those who want to try golf without a “green card” or improve their short game.
During the 2022 season, the club arranged several prestigious tournaments, including a tournament on LETAS, the European Tour’s sub-tour for women, and the Swedish Championship for men H60. The facilities at Edenhof Golf Club include a complete clubhouse with a restaurant, golf shop, and changing rooms.
For golfers seeking challenges and wanting to play on a course designed by a renowned architect, Edenhof is an excellent place to visit. With the beautiful location and the surrounding artworks by Oscar Reuterswärd, there is also the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful nature at the facility.

3. Upsala GOLF CLUB
Upsala Golf Club (UGK) is one of Sweden’s most prestigious golf clubs, with three courses that offer a variety of different challenges and experiences for golfers at all levels. The main course is an 18-hole championship course and one of the best in Sweden, which was completely renovated 2007–2010 by Canadian architect Bob Kains. The course recently hosted the Women’s European Championship 2020 and the club team Swedish Championship for men 2021 and 2022. The medium course is a 9-hole forest course that suits most golfers and challenges technically with large, undulating greens and an impressive use of nature. The small course is a shorter pay & play course with 9 holes and is a dream for beginners and golfers who do not hit very far. The course is open to everyone, without requiring a green card, with regular greens year-round.

4. Grönlund Golf Club
More or less halfway between Uppsala and Arlanda, you will find Grönlund Golf Club. With a special family focus, it offers experiences for everyone. Their course is a professional 18-hole course that combines hilly parkland and forest with water features. An exciting and moderately difficult experience. They also have a driving range with grass tees and special areas for those who are beginners or want to refine their technique.
Grönlund Golf Club is an excellent excursion destination for those who want to combine their Uppsala visit with a golf experience, with only about 30 minutes by car from Arenahotellet.
5. Wattholma Golf Club
Wattholma Golf Club’s course is challenging for the skilled golfer who is hunting for birdies, while golfers who are in the middle of their golf development are met with an inviting friendliness as there is almost always a forgiving route to the cup. The course’s character resembles links golf as the wind in the open landscape makes each round unique. The very best thing is to try the course yourself, as most who have played discover that it is significantly more difficult than at first glance.
The golf course also has its signature holes, such as hole 7 which concludes with a challenging second shot for the really long hitters over the water to the inviting green. Alternatively, one can play up the third shot and go over the water with a well-measured wedge. The 510-meter long hole 15 into the headwind constitutes a real opponent for all players.
