The state-of-the-art IFU Arena is located only 400 metres from Arenahotellet, with track and field and floorball facilities, as well as a gym for training and competitions, open all year round. The stadium is used by both kids and professionals alike. IFU is the home stadium for Storvreta IBK, IK Sirius IBK, IK Sirius FBC, Haglunda IF and the Uppsala basketball team. The stadium is run jointly by Uppsala IF friidrott and Uppsala Innebandyallians.
The track and field centre has a stadium with a racetrack and running track around the perimeter. The facility has a seating capacity of up to 810 people. The stadium is approved for both junior and senior competitions.
The floorball stadium has five courts, which are all up to national and international standards. The A-court is for professional games, with a capacity of 2,880 people, including the standing sections. The other floorball courts have 510 seats. One of the courts can also be used for basketball.
IFU Arena also has a club office, as well as ArenaKöket which serves a generous and finely-cooked lunch buffet every day of the week, with a wide range of traditional Swedish dishes.
For all training and competitions at IFU Arena, Arenahotellet is the natural choice, especially given the fact that hotel is specially designed for athletes. Each sport has its own wing, including one specially designed for athletes using wheelchairs. The basketball wing has extra long beds.
Outside of the facility, there are plenty of paid parking spaces. The Lagerlöfsgatan bus stop is located directly outside of the stadium. Additionally, Arenahotellet has 26 parking spaces, four of which are disability accessible. There are also seven charging stations for electric cars.
To get here by bus from the central station, take bus 3 towards Östra Nyby. It takes about 15 minutes to get to Arenahotellet from the central station by bike.
